Dynamic Functional Integration®
through the head neck and shoulders
Julie Casson Rubin
February 17, 18 & 19, 2012
Evanston IL (Chicago region)
In this seminar, we will work to advance the precision of your touch and the development of interactive strategies in FI - all in the context of working through the functional relationships of head, neck and shoulder.
Dr. Feldenkrais was clear in his opinion that every difficulty in development and every possibility for improvment could be seen and worked with through the relationship of the head, neck and shoulders to each other, to the spinal core, to the pelvis and to the use of the legs.
In the part of our study that will focus on interactive FI strategies, we will practice how to work with your client not only in the customary "passive/receptive state," but through the full range of voluntary participation in the FI session up to and including strong and active movement. All the while we will maintain focus on serving functional awareness and learning.
